This Privacy Policy applies to the Tripeza mobile application (hereby referred to as the "Application") created by Bhavik Jain (hereby referred to as the "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS."

1. Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information to provide and improve the group travel coordination experience. This includes:

User-Provided Information:

  • Account Data: Your email address and encrypted password provided during registration.
  • Trip Coordination Data: Trip budgets, meeting points, shared group expenses, and trip notes provided by you or your group members to facilitate planning.
  • Communication: Information provided when you contact the Service Provider for support.

Automatically Collected Information:

  • Device information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system, and unique device identifiers.
  • Usage statistics, including the date and time of your visits and the specific features within the Application that you interact with.

2. Artificial Intelligence and Third-Party Access

Tripeza utilizes the Google Gemini API to provide automated itinerary generation and travel recommendations.

  • What is Shared: To generate tailored itineraries, the Application shares specific trip parameters—specifically the Trip Budget and Meeting Point—with integrated AI services.
  • What is NOT Shared: We do not share your personal account credentials (email/password), private expense logs, or personal trip notes with any third-party AI service.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

The Service Provider will retain User-Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter.

  • In-App Account Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated personal data at any time directly within the Application settings. Once an account is deleted, your personally identifiable information (including email and password) is removed from our active databases.
  • Manual Deletion Requests: If you are unable to access the Application or would like to request the deletion of specific data, please contact us at contact@tripeza.in. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.

4. Security

The Service Provider is committed to safeguarding your information. We implement industry-standard electronic and procedural safeguards, including encryption for sensitive data like passwords, to protect the information we process. However, please be aware that no security system can prevent all potential security breaches.

5. Children’s Privacy

The Application is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If it is discovered that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be deleted immediately. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with data, please contact contact@tripeza.in.

6. Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace.

7. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your approval of the updated terms.
